Checklist

Use this checklist to confirm that you’ve completed the Get started phase and are ready to use your benefits.

By now you:

  • Understand how Thatch works and the role Thatch plays in your health care
  • Set up your Thatch member account
    • Confirmed your personal information
    • Added any applicable dependents
  • Reviewed your plan options
  • Completed enrollment (by choosing a plan or, if allowed, by bringing your own)
  • Signed into your insurance companyinsurance company The company that provides insurance coverage. Also called an insurance provider.'s website or app to view your coverage
  • Know when your coverage starts and how your Thatch allowanceallowance The amount an employer makes available to help employees pay for coverage or eligible expenses. applies
  • Reviewed and completed the checklist on your Thatch dashboard homepage

Next steps​

Watch for emails from broker@thatch.com in case more information is needed to complete your enrollment. (This is less common, but check your inbox just in case.)

You can track your enrollment status in the Thatch dashboard.

Insurance companies usually mail welcome packets 7 to 10 business days after your enrollment is finalized. The welcome packet includes your Member ID cards and policy number.

Many insurance companies also provide your Member ID to Thatch. If so, you'll see the Member ID in your Thatch dashboard.

Note that a missing Member ID in your Thatch dashboard doesn't mean you're not covered.
