Shop at the Thatch Marketplace

Thatch Marketplace is a virtual store that allows employees to use their benefit dollars on health and wellness services that matter most to them. If your employer enables the Thatch Marketplace, you’ll see additional options beyond your core medical coverage, such as Thatch-exclusive discounts, high-quality products, and additional services.

To use it, navigate to the Marketplace section of the Thatch dashboard to browse available products and services. To complete a purchase, you'll be redirected to a co-branded Thatch partner page for checkout.

You can use either your virtual or physical Thatch card on the Marketplace. Thatch makes payment options clear at the point of selection, so you always understand what’s covered by your Thatch balance and what you’ll pay out of pocket.

You must submit a receipt for all QME purchases, regardless of where you bought the item or how you paid. This applies whether you used your Thatch card directly with a partner or paid with your personal card and are seeking reimbursement.

tip

If your purchase exceeds your current Thatch balance, you’ll be reimbursed up to your available balance. You can also wait to submit the claim in a later month (within the same calendar year) to accumulate a larger balance before requesting reimbursement.

Rollover and year-end

Your balance rolls month-to-month within the calendar year. Balances do not roll over at year-end, unless your company specifies otherwise. For balances that do reset annually, funds can only be used for expenses incurred during that calendar year.

Only expenses incurred on or before December 31 qualify for that plan year. Submit any outstanding reimbursements by March 31 of the following year (that is, 2025 expenses by March 31, 2026).
